How to find us
The service is based in the heart of Ayr adjacent to Burns Statue Square. There is a regular bus service with a bus stop directly outside the service. The service is also within easy reach of the train station.
What we offer
We provide support and encouragement to help people recover from problematic drug and alcohol use. We provide opportunities for people to regain skills to improve their life circumstances and sustain their recovery and to positively participate in their local communities. Our service is free and confidential offering one-to-one support, group work, mutual aid, relapse prevention, drug and alcohol advice, specialist support for blood borne viruses, methadone cessation and alcohol related brain damage. We also offer employability support and training and recovery check-ups post discharge.
Out-of-hours appointments available on request and to suit service user needs.
Volunteering opportunities
At Addaction’s South Ayrshire Recovery Service we aim to positively and actively support volunteering. It is our policy for volunteers to be an integrated part of our organisation and we aim to make sure that the Addaction SARS Volunteering Programme will provide enormous benefits for all involved.
